Nupe stools originate from the Nigerian Nupe tribe in Africa. The stools are hand carved from a single piece of indigenous wood with an intricate geometric design carefully carved into the seat. Unlike most African stools, the Nupe people have distinctive 8 and 10-legged stools.
Nupe stools work perfectly styled as a low side table or as a sculptural decorative stool for anywhere in the home.

Condition: Light discolouration and a few small scratches.
 
Restoration: One of the legs was broken so we expertly repaired so the damage is hardly visible. We gave the stool a thorough clean and applied a protective wax.
